What is Acroyoga?
AcroYoga is a movement practice that combines the balance of yoga, the fitness of acrobatics, and the healing
potential of human connection.
- Acroyoga International

Put simply, Acroyoga is a form of partner yoga, involving a base, flyer and spotter. It is a community practice that embraces the technicality of muscular awareness and bone stacking, sensing and communicating, and re-experiencing the pure joy of moving and tumbling. Acroyoga is accessible to all ages as long as it is practised with awareness.
"There's something magical about trusting yourself - that you can do your part - and trusting that others will do their part too. That sense of individual competence and confidence, as well as interdependence, is what we can discover through Acroyoga - all while having fun."

About Us
Our Journey with Acroyoga
My journey with Acroyoga is a shared one with my husband and partner - Aik Song. Together, we're a duo - SQAS. We began first in JyanYoga - where the competent and embracing community ignited our passion for this partner art, which we considered an extension of our existing practice in partner lifts. We found joy in the balance of power that Acroyoga emphasises; we appreciated the art and science of readying ourselves and trusting others to accomplish poses that made us feel 'home' in our bodies.
We attained certifications as Acroyoga Teachers from Acroyoga International in 2022 to solidify our teaching approach and share this craft with others. Today, we offer a range of workshops for movers of all experiences, including beginners and intermediate practitioners.
